Richard Anthony Morgan, a well respected, up and coming impressionist artist, was born in Kingston Jamaica in 1965. His interest and love of drawing and painting was evident from an early age, when he began to create his own comic books, using local characters to tell stories of the everyday events that occurred in the district.

In 2019 Richard made the decision to give up work and pursue a fulltime career as an artist. He returned to the University of Hertfordshire and studied a professional course in visual art. In just a few months he had submitted several pieces of work to a regional art gallery and has received some private commissions. He now plans to return to his beloved Jamaica to give back his gift by way of becoming an art teacher and passing on his passion for painting to the next generation.
