SPRING MIDLANDS ART FAIR
17th May to 3rd June 202
An Initiative of The Birmingham Contemporary Art Gallery
We are still experiencing exceedingly difficult and challenging times as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic and the huge uncertainty that remains. Artists and other creatives have also felt the enormous pressure both creatively and financially and as such, something needs to be done in anticipation for when we finally manage to get the pandemic under control.
Our future has not been cancelled and we must now plan ahead to reignite the creative passion that is pent up and ready to be released within our art. The Midlands Art Fair is one such initiative where our plan is to bring back some social engagement and restart our local arts sector across the Midlands to support our local artists and above all to have some fun!
The Midlands Art Fair will be held this Spring from 20th May to 3rd June on the complex of the Utilita Arena, in the Birmingham Contemporary Art Gallery and on the roof terrace overlooking Brindley Place Canal.
Artwork must reach the gallery no later than 5pm on Saturday 1st May. Artwork will then be displayed for sale to the public during the 14 day Art Fair.
At the end of the Art Fair, all artwork must be collected from the gallery no later than Tuesday 8th June.
